This article aimed to analyse the ethical principles applicable to the preparation of final course projects in Angolan higher education from constructivist, socio-interactionist and humanistic perspectives. It is a theoretical essay based on a narrative literature review of scientific publications on academic integrity, supervision, authorship, methodological rigour, confidentiality and the responsible use of artificial intelligence. The analysis was organised around five axes: autonomy, scientific honesty, rigour, responsibility and confidentiality. The reflection indicates that these principles do not derive automatically from the pedagogical theories examined; rather, the author relates them to final course projects as interpretive keys for understanding students' ethical development, supervisors' mediation and institutional responsibility. The essay argues that the ethical quality of final projects depends on the articulation of explicit integrity education, dialogical supervision, transparent criteria for authorship and source use, data protection and institutional policies adapted to digital challenges. Ethics should therefore permeate the entire project-development process instead of being restricted to final plagiarism checks or formal compliance with regulations.
